Mass hiring is not just "hiring workers"
It seems simple: post a vacancy and wait for the flood of applications. In reality, mass hiring is a real sales funnel, except the product is working hands — and every minute counts.

In reality it is a genuine sales funnel, except the product is working hands — and every minute counts.
Why mass hiring is a separate kind of recruiting sport
Speed is critical
A candidate applies today and is at your competitor's tomorrow. Whoever reacts fastest wins.
We cut our response time to two days.
Operators, workers, sales agents — in every field there are people who decide quickly, picking the shop near their home or the first place that called them.
Process = system
If you have no templates, CRM, scripts or KPIs, the funnel will collapse at the first stage.
We worked strictly by kanban, used an automated system, and had a well-built, well-tuned process for attracting, screening and assessing candidates.
Working at volume
One or two hires prove nothing. You need to be able to scale: 10, 30, 50 people on schedule.
The task was a serious one: deliver results in profit. As HRD I broke it down into sub-tasks, and we always hit our training KPI at 100–110 percent.
Data instead of guesses
Analytics is not optional. It is your foundation. Which channels work, where the bottlenecks are, what the real conversion is?
Data should be collected for making decisions, not just for filing away in a folder.
The candidate is a client too
No feedback? Taking too long to decide? They have already gone where decisions are made in a day.
I always say that communication is the most important thing in working with people.
In summary
Mass hiring is about flexibility, system and fast reaction. And no, it is definitely not for beginners.
Have you dealt with mass hiring? What was the hardest part?
